Vice Chairman, Academic Affairs of WIS honored with Honorary Doctorate in Educational Leadership by US university Mr Pagna Young, co-founder and Vice Chairman, Academic Affairs of Western International School and Western University has been granted an Honorary Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership by an American university from Florida in recognition of “his passion for educational quality and equity, matched by his innate leadership and organizational management”, according to the university’s Board of Directors. An Honorary Doctorate is the highest distinction a university gives to a person in recognition of his or her career in the academic, scientific or cultural fields. During an official ceremony hosted last month in Kuala Lumpur, Mr Pagna Young received his distinction together with other outstanding business leaders and public figures from throughout South East Asia. The board of management, faculty and staff of Western International School and Western University wish to congratulate Dr. Pagna Young on this special occasion.
